Emperial

Emperial is an Imperial Stout with Cherries belonging to BJCP categories 20 and 13F. It is the result of a long exploration regarding what it means to brew beer with fruit. As a result, it has gone beyond a typical fruit-flavored beer and is more adequately described as a beer made with fruit. Due to this change in focus, it is a beer that begins to resemble wine. It is bitter, with a full body, a strong roast and malt flavor that blends with wine-like fruit qualities, and an even, complimentary hop character.
